Since 1985, Maurice Suissa has been supporting, producing, and launching artists on major stages across Europe and around the world. A renowned agent, producer, and manager, he has organized more than 3,000 live concerts, creating unique and unifying musical experiences.
Over the decades, he has collaborated with legends and major figures on the international scene through exceptional productions, notably at the Olympia, with Alvin Lee, Toto, Wishbone Ash, America, Bill Wyman and the Rhythm Kings, James Brown, The Blues Brothers, Johnny Winter, Tony Joe White, Murray Head, Dr. Feelgood, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jamiroquai, Robert Plant, Louis Bertignac, Charles Pasi, Johnny Gallagher, and David Hallyday.
A visionary and event organizer, he founded the Les Mascarets Festival in Pont-Audemer in 1995, which has since become a must-attend cultural event. Since 2004, he has also curated the artistic program for the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix, blending music and prestige in an exceptional setting.
Among his most notable projects, he conceived and organized the FFSA’s centennial celebration with a one-of-a-kind concert in France featuring Roger Waters’ *The Dark Side of the Moon*, drawing a crowd of 27,000 spectators to Magny-Cours. He is also the driving force behind innovative concepts such as Rock & Golf (Aix-les-Bains, Chantilly) and Rock’n Pétanque in New York, demonstrating his ability to create original formats with a strong identity.
A long-time partner of artists such as Louis Bertignac and Charles Pasi, he accompanies them on their international tours around the world—from the Americas to Asia and Australia—helping to expand their global reach.
Her career has also been marked by a strong media presence, notably alongside Louis Bertignac on the show *The Voice* for three seasons.
Through each of his projects, Maurice Suissa champions a demanding and passionate vision of live music: to create rare moments where emotion and excellence come together.
Throughout his career, Maurice Suissa has established himself as a leading figure in arts programming, bringing international artists to iconic festivals in France and across Europe.
He has thus contributed to the musical identity of must-attend events such as the Euro Harley-Davidson in Port-Grimaud (since 2006), Voix du Gaou in Six-Fours (1998–2006), the La Barrasse Festival in Marseille (1995–2002), and the World Pétanque Championship in Marseille, where artists such as Murray Head, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Bill Wyman have performed. Always driven by a creative spirit, he also launched the Rhinoférock in Pernes-les-Fontaines (2010–2014).
His expertise has led him to collaborate with numerous renowned festivals, including Deauville, Paris, Cognac Blues, Cahors Blues, Monte-Carlo, Jazz à Vienne, Juan-les-Pins (since 1995), Les Nuits de la Guitare in Patrimonio (Corsica, since 1998), the Francofolies in Spa and La Rochelle, the Franco-Gourmandes in Tournon, Jazz à Carthage, and the Gnawa Festival in Essaouira.
At the same time, he served as executive producer on several albums by artists such as Louis Bertignac, Charles Pasi, David Hallyday, and Johnny Gallagher, demonstrating a consistent commitment to artistic and musical development.
His vision is also evident on the international stage, through his artistic programming for major events such as the Vancouver (2010) and London (2012) Olympic Games, as well as in connection with the city of Annecy’s bid. Since 2000, he has worked closely with the Société des Bains de Mer in Monaco, contributing to the excellence of its programming.
Curious and passionate about musical instruments in all their forms, he also curates acclaimed exhibitions, notably one featuring the unique Wandrè guitar collection, which was presented in Monaco in 2020 and then at the Château de la Buzine in 2021. He also contributed to the artistic programming for the exhibition “J’aime pas la culture” in Brussels in 2005.
Finally, he has worked on major productions, including Johnny Hallyday’s stadium tour in France, cementing his place among the greatest moments in music history.
